Sam Chilia Retiring After 50 Years in the IBEW
In this edition of IBEW Hour Power News Briefs we take a moment to say goodbye to the very talented and dedicated International Secretary-Treasurer Sam Chilia as he enters retirement.
At the 2017 Construction and Maintenance Conference, Chilia reminisced over his time in the IBEW, he rose through the ranks from apprentice to Business Manager to International Secretary-Treasurer, and many positions in between. Chilia attributed his success to the IBEW and that this union is the reason he was able to live out the American Dream.
4th District IVP Kenneth Cooper will be stepping up as International Secretary-Treasurer.
We wish Chilia the very best in his retirement!
