Transcript – Job Tip: Klein Tools MM500

As an apprentice new to the trade it was challenging to try and find the right tester to buy as my first. How much should I spend, how much functionality do I need and how durable is the tester are all questions that kept coming up. After looking at a lot of testers, I think I found the perfect match.

The Klein Tools MM500 is durable, easy to use and as a newcomer to the trade it has all the functionality I need.

It switches from AC to DC automatically, it has a visual and audible continuity tester and when testing tamper resistant receptacles, the lead holders are perfectly spaced easy access into the plug.

For me, another huge selling point is that the screws stay with the cover when changing the batteries.

This new Klein Tools tester has been the perfect first tester and I hope it is for you too.
