Transcript – Save Wires and Cords by Utilizing Clothes Hangers
Hello, my name is Justin Brockway with Kansas City’s electricians, IBEW Local 124.
One of the problems that we have with extension cords that are on the floor, particularly in doorways, is that when equipment is rolling through we can damage the cords and cause an electrical hazard. A simple solution is to take some non-conductive clothes hangers, hang them above the doorway, then thread the cords through the hangers.
Let me show you how it’s done. This is just one way to save cords and create a safe workplace.
Thanks! I hope this helps you in the field!
