Transcript – Ensuring Proper Harness Fit

Hi, I’m Karen Cochran, this is Shon Lee, from Local 124 out of Kansas City Missouri. Today we are going to demonstrate three different things to check on your harness to make sure that it is fitted properly.

First, you want your legs straps to be snug, but not uncomfortable.

You want your chest strap to go across your chest and also be snug but not uncomfortable.

On the back, you want to pull on the front part of your harness and sit back, so you almost feel like you can sit on your harness.

And then check your D-Ring to make sure it is in the center of your shoulder blades.

We hope these three safety tips will help you be safe out in the field.
