Jordan Geddert’s path from the Royal Marine Commandos to IBEW Local 258 is one of resilience, purpose, and brotherhood. After five years of service, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, transitioning to civilian life was a challenge—until fatherhood reignited his drive for stability. He then pursued an electrical apprenticeship, leading him to a fulfilling career as a power line technician for BC Hydro and a proud IBEW member.

Determined to support fellow veterans, Jordan co-founded the Local 258 Veterans Committee with Jamie Lowe. Their mission: helping veterans transition into the electrical trade through mentorship, resources, and community. Veterans bring discipline, teamwork, and perseverance to the IBEW, and thanks to the committee, many are finding purpose in the trade.

Join Jordan, Jamie, and the IBEW Veterans Committee in building a brighter future for veterans and the electrical industry—where brotherhood and purpose thrive.
