IBEW member Rod demonstrates an easy way to keep your work area clean while cutting into drywall.
Step 1: Find a cardboard box or piece of paper that is slightly bigger than the hole you plan to cut.
Step 2: Take some painters tape or frog tape and attach the box just below the area you are going to cut the hole.
Step 3: Cut your hole and all the dust and debris falls into the box
Step 4: Peel away the box and you won’t be required to do any additional clean up
This tip is efficient because it eliminates having to do any additional clean up after you’ve cut your hole. For more helpful tips, click here
