Everyday, millions of gallons of water are collected from Salt Lake County, Utah, and treated at The Central Valley Water Reclamation Facility… and over the years – its infrastructure and electrical equipment was in danger of becoming obsolete and as a result, less effective.  So, to get the plant back up to and past baseline State and Federal regulatory requirements, brothers and sisters of IBEW Local 354 were called on to do the ‘dirty work’.

Of the many challenges – renovations had to occur without disturbing the everyday operation of the facility… making sure that as water was being cleaned, a simultaneous effort was made to improve the processes, the hardware and software needed to ensure it would be reliable now and into the future.
